TOUR OVERVIEW
Visit Whitehorse in the Yukon on this great 3-day getaway. In the summer you can experience the land of the Midnight Sun. Other times of the year you can see the famous Northern Lights. Either way, an amazing experience that you won’t soon forget!
Pick from Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday on this Far North Adventure. The tour is not escorted so you are free to go where you want, when you want.
In the Spring and Summer you can see what it’s like to live in the land of the Midnight Sun with daylight nearly 24 hours a day. You can go for a hike or a swim at midnight as easily as at noon!
And, starting in the early fall right through until spring you can look for the awesome Aurora Borealis / Northern Lights – a sight you will never forget!
TOUR INCLUDES
- Round trip airfare between Vancouver and Whitehorse. Includes all taxes, fuel surcharges, airport fees, and security fees.

TOUR OPTIONS
Want to head to a local Hot Springs or take a local tour? No problem! We suggest a visit to the very well informed and helpful Tourist Info Centre located in downtown Whitehorse near the Yukon River – 100 Hanson St. They can set you up with whatever activity you would like to take part in. Their winter hours are M to F 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; Saturdays 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
- There is an old paddlewheeler – The SS Klondike – that has been converted to a museum. It is on the banks of the Yukon River only a few blocks from the Info Centre and is well worth a visit.
- Rent a car and get out of town. If you want to do some serious exploring, the best bet is to rent a car and head to the hills surrounding Whitehorse. To book a car, call National / Norcan Car Rental 1-800-661-0445.

You need a minimum of 2 people sharing a room for this tour.
The Getaways run Friday to Sunday OR Saturday to Monday.
You must book at least 72 hours before departure to get this rate. All Getaways subject to availability.
You can head to Whitehorse, Yukon Territory ANY weekend between Sept. 16, 2011 and May 21, 2012 EXCEPT Dec. 13 to Jan. 5
TOUR ITINERARY
Your flight departs Vancouver International Airport at 11:30 am. You should be at the airport NO LATER than 10:30 am. It arrives in Whitehorse at 1:55 pm.
Your return flight departs Whitehorse at 2:55 pm so you need to be at the airport by 2:00pm. The flight arrives back at Vancouver International Airport at 5:10 pm.
The time between flights is your own to explore this exciting corner of Canada!

- A warm jacket (nights can be cool even in the middle of summer).
