Those expecting Canada to be a boring version of the USA are in for a suprise. Canada's wild northern frontier, which has been kept clean and pristine, and its distinct multicultural peoples have created a country that is very entertaining. When To Go?

Spring, summer and autumn are all ideal for touring, though if you want to ski you'll naturally have to come in winter or early spring. For campers and those who want to visit the far north, the summer months of July and August are best. Summer is also when many of the country's festivals take place. Note that the peak tourist season is between Victoria Day (late May) and Labour Day (early September). Although spring and autumn have fewer crowds, lower prices and a more relaxed pace than the summer months, some visitor-oriented facilities and attractions may be closed during these shoulder seasons.

Cancellation Policy

The cancellation penalty is based on when our office receives notice of the cancellation.7 days or more, no charge.

Less than 7 days, no refund.

Please note that, within the 7-day deadline, if you can find a replacement of the SAME SEX, we will give a refund less a $25 processing fee. 

***  Note that within the 1 week deadline a female student can only be replaced by another female student and a male can only be replaced by another male. ***

Waitlist

If the tour you want to go on is Sold Out, you are welcome to add your name to our Waitlist in the event of late cancellations. 

*** If you put your name on the waitlist, please make sure that you give us contact info (phone number / email).  If we can't contact you we will need to move on to the next person on the list.***

Room Sharing and Co-Ed Policy

Our policy is to room girls with girls and guys with guys.  There are circumstances where you can opt for co-ed.  Basically it amounts to everyone in the room agreeing to share with the opposite sex.  Examples:

A couple want to share a room but there are only 2 of them.  They can't say that they don't mind having others in the room.  The others will mind.

A group of 3 friends (mixed) say they don't mind another guy / girl sharing doesn't work.  Same reason.

A group of 3 friends (mixed) buy the upgrade to 3 per room.  No problem.

A couple buys the upgrade to 2 per room.  No problem.

A group of 4 friends (mixed) all agree to sharing. No problem.

Upgrade policy

We have a limited number of upgrades available per tour.  Please check with our office for availability.  This is especially important on long weekends and during July and Aug. when it can be impossible for us to get more rooms at the hotels.
