With lots of stops and sightseeing in between.

This is a small group, personal tour with limited availability so we strongly suggest you book well in advance.

Day 1 – Travel from Vancouver to Tofino / Ucluelet

7:00 am Meet at the corner of Cordova St and Seymour St.

They say that ‘getting there is half the fun’ and this is so very true on our Island Hopper Tour. This morning we catch a ride on BC Ferries where you can keep your eyes peeled for whales or dolphins. Our Island Adventure really gets kick started when we arrive at Nanaimo. We head across Vancouver Island with a stop in Port Alberni where you can pick up lunch. From there we continue our tour across the island to Tofino. In Tofino you have lots of great options including surfing, bear watching tours, scenic flights, ocean kayaking and more! (For more information on options, see the Prices and Dates page.) We finish the day with a campfire on the beach.

Our hotel is located in the quaint West Coast fishing village of Ucluelet.

Day 2 – Ucluelet to Victoria

8:00 am Depart our hotel.

In the morning we do a hike on the Wild Pacific Trail for a taste of the rugged beauty of the Wild West Coast. Next we head to Cathedral Grove where you have a chance to walk amongst giant trees in an “Old Growth Forest”. From there we’re off to the famous market in Coomb with goats on the roof.

After a lunch stop we travel south to Victoria with a stop in Chemainus where you have a chance to get out and view some of the 39 outdoor murals throughout town. And, being Canada, we HAVE to stop in Duncan to see the Worlds Largest Hockey Stick. At 205 ft / 62.5 m it is huge!

We arrive in Victoria in the late afternoon for a city tour before free time to explore the many sights and attractions available.

After dinner, join your guide and head back to the Inner Harbour to visit a local pub or just soak in the ambience of this historic city.

"I did the Trip to the Rockies at the first weekend of August 2014. And well, it was the best thing I have done in Canada. You'll meet a lot of friendly people and so I made a lot of new, good friends. And of course you will see the most incredible nature and wildlife. My personal favorite is Moraine Lake! Our tourguide Lee and his team did a very good job. He cared about everything and always looked that everybody is happy! So in this way a big thank you to Lee for the amazing trip!"
