This is a small group, personal tour with limited availability so we strongly suggest you book well in advance.
Our KICK *SS Rafting Tour is the PREMIUM Rafting tour at an incredible bargain price!
Day 1 – Travel from Vancouver to Golden
7:00 am Meet at the corner of Cordova St and Seymour St.
This morning we travel through the Fraser Valley with a stop in Hope where Stallone filmed his classic hit First Blood. From there we tour over the Coquihalla Highway (made famous for its winter conditions in the TV show Highway Through Hell).
12:00 pm Lunch stop in Kamloops.
In the afternoon we journey past Shuswap Lake (The Houseboat Capital of Canada), stop in Revelstoke to pick up dinner supplies and traverse lofty Rogers Pass before dropping down into the Columbia River Valley where we check in to our EXCLUSIVE Mountain View Cabins in the Rocky Mountains.
The evening is yours to relax around a campfire, sample some s’mores (delicious Canadian delicacies made with marshmallows roasted over the fire tucked into a Graham cracker sandwich with a piece of chocolate. Decadent but you deserve it!)
Day 2 – WHITE WATER RAFTING!
8:00 am Breakfast at the cabins (included).
10:00 am to 3:30 pm for those doing the White Water Discovery tour (included)
10:00 am to 6:30 pm for those doing the Heli Rafting upgrade (additional $150)
Tonight we’ll have dinner and a drink in Golden to share white water rafting stories before heading back to our cabins.
At the cabins we’ll do a short hike through the forest that ends at the Viewpoint (FREE option). As always, there will be a campfire to warm you after a day on the water.
Day 3 – Golden to Banff to Golden
8:00 am – breakfast at the cabins (included)
After breakfast we head through Yoho National Park and into Banff National Park past towering Castle Mountain before reaching Banff – a beautiful Rocky Mountain village tucked away in the shadow of Cascade Mountain, Mount Rundle, and Sulphur Mountain. There you will have free time to explore the town and do a little souvenir shopping.
From Banff we travel to Lake Louise, the most famous lake in the Rockies, for some amazing sightseeing. For those that want a little more adventure you have the option to sign up for the scenic gondola ride that takes you up above the Bow Valley for stunning views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Louise. Note that the best chance to see bears is from the Lake Louise gondola (note – seeing bears is NOT guaranteed. They are just more common here than elsewhere on the tour.) This option comes with an all-you-can-eat buffet lunch. All for only $45. Highly recommended!
The tour continues as we head down Kicking Horse Pass back into Yoho National Park with a stop at Emerald Lake. While popular with tourists, Emerald Lake is nowhere nearly as busy as Lake Louise and it’s a great place to get away from the crowds. And if the ice has melted, you can even try canoeing on a mountain lake (optional extra) to round out your day. Talk to your guide for rates and availability.
We stop in Golden to pick up supplies for dinner at the cabins. Tonight you can enjoy a wiener roast around the campfire, do some star gazing, and enjoy being with new friends in the Rockies.
Day 4 – Golden to Vancouver
7:30 am – breakfast at the cabins (included)
Our first stop is Revelstoke where we pick up some supplies for a picnic lunch. We take a slightly different route going home. We travel through the Northern end of the Okanagan Valley, BC’s summer playground and heart of BC’s famous Wine Country. We pass through Vernon and then stop at the lakefront in Kelowna for a picnic.
We have one final rest stop before arriving back in Vancouver at approx. 7:30 pm
