Day 1 – Travel from Vancouver to Valemount

We will meet at 7:00 am to begin our journey to the Rocky Mountains. Along the way we will stop in Hope, a small town just outside of Vancouver. From here we will make our way to Kamloops,where we will stop for lunch. From Kamloops, we will continue on our way to Valemount, stopping at Spahats Falls on the way. Upon arrival into Valemount at approximately 6:00 pm, we will check into our hotel. The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy!

Day 2 – Valemount to Golden

We depart Valemount at approximately 8:00 am. On our way to Banff, we will stop at Mount Robson, travel through Jasper, visit the Athabasca Falls, and stop at the Columbia Icefields. Here you have the option of joining the Glacier Snocoach tour. After enjoying some time at the Columbia Icefields, we will see Peyto Lake, and Bow Lake before arriving to our hotel in Golden, BC. We will check into the hotel at approximately 6:00 pm; you are free to go and have dinner on your own. After dinner, your tour guide will organize a night out at a local pub that has great drink specials!

Day 3 – Golden

Take in the amazing views as we leave Golden and on our way to Banff. On the way we will stop at Lake Louise and Moraine Lake – both part of the most famous places in the Rocky Mountains! This day also includes an optional stop at the Banff Gondola – this is an opportunity for you to see amazing views! You will also have free time in downtown Banff. We will check into the hotel at approximately 6:00 pm; you are free to go and have dinner on your own!

Day 4 – Golden to Vancouver

Today is the last day of your trip to the Rocky Mountains! At approximately 8:00 am, we begin our journey home traveling through the Okanagan Valley. We will stop for a relaxing lunch in Kelowna- home to a legendary water monster called the Ogopogo! After departing Kelowna we will join Highway 5 to drive through the Coquihalla Valley. On the way we will see the Last Spike and Othello Tunnels. We will arrive back in Vancouver at approximately 7:00 pm, where your unforgettable journey to the Canadian Rocky Mountains will come to an end.

Banff Gondola – $TBD

Cruise for fourteen glorious minutes in a fully enclosed gondola to one of the Banff National Park’s greatest views! From 2088m (6850ft), the spectacular scenery is yours to explore at will. Take a walk around to see breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains and beyond!

SnoCoach Glacier Experience – $TBD

One of the most unique attractions in the Rocky Mountains, you will be taken in an Ice Explorer designed for glacial travel, onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier. The tour is approximately 1.5 hours, where you will learn about glaciers, Icefields, and their impact on our environment. Halfway through the tour, you will be able to step out onto the glacier. This experience is only open mid-April to mid-October.

If you would like to partake in all of the optional activities, you can purchase the activity pass which includes Snocoach and Banff gondola for a discounted price. We strongly recommend that you book your extra activities in advance to guarantee space!
