The Adventurer

Introducing the Great Canadian Adventure Tours…

“New in 2016, our Great Canadian Adventure Tours are operated with mini coaches to create a small group atmosphere. Not only are these tours a great way to experience Canada, but they also boast a range of activities including hiking, biking, bungee jumping and white water rafting. These tours also stay in hostels, rather than hotels, to make them more affordable for everyone.”

Host Mountain of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, beautiful Whistler is just a short drive away on one of the world’s most scenic highways: the Sea-to-Sky. Whistler Village is a bustling resort town with exhilarating activities like Bungee, Mountain biking, Zipline Rafting, amazing shopping, and delicious food and drink options at the many restaurants and pubs around the village. Come explore the mountain resort consistently ranked #1 in North America by SKI Magazine.

This tour is a 3 day thrill seeking and scenic experience that will show you the best of what Whistler has to offer!

Day 1 – Vancouver to Whistler

Depart Vancouver and head north along Highway 99 a.k.a. the Sea-to-Sky highway. Our first stop is the famous Stawamus Chief near Squamish, BC for a hike high above the Howe Sound. This hike, lasting around 3.5 hours, will give you excellent views and an appreciation for the rock climbers who choose to climb the famous “Grand Wall” on the face of this granite monolith.  From here, the drive continues and we climb up into the mountains towards Whistler.

After we arrive at Whistler Village, which sits at an elevation of 670m, your guide will take you on a walking tour followed by free time to explore on your own. This is a perfect opportunity to take part in one of the amazing optional activities on offer. After an exhilarating day we will do the check-in to our accommodation with a group dinner at the HI Whistler (included). The rest of the night is all yours to enjoy – we recommended heading back to the village to enjoy the vibrant night life.

Day 2 – Whistler

Today we have free time to explore the village and take part in optional activities. Included in the price of your tour, we will give you a ticket to the Peak 2 Peak gondola to use at some stage during the day. We recommend taking a hike around the top of the mountain to see views over Garibaldi Provincial park (look for the famous Black Tusk!).

Day 3 – Whistler to Vancouver

On our final day you will have the opportunity to enjoy a guided walk in Lost Lake and also free time in Whistler to take part in one of the many fun and exciting adventure activities. At 5:30pm the bus departs Whistler. With scenic stops at Brandywine Falls and Tantalus Viewpoint, you will return to Waterfront Station around 7:30pm.
