Vancouver to Whistler

8:00am – Depart Vancouver and head north along Highway 99 a.k.a. the Sea-to-Sky highway. Our first stop is Shannon Falls near Squamish, BC to view the 335m high waterfall. The drive continues and we climb up into the mountains.

11:00am – Arrive at Whistler Village, which has an elevation of 670m. Your guide will take you on a walking tour of the village and then give you free time to explore on your own or take part in one of the amazing optional activities.

3:00pm – In the afternoon you can meet the tour guide for a stroll to the popular locals’ beach at Lost Lake for a swim.

At 5:00pm the bus departs Whistler. With scenic stops at Brandywine Falls and Tantalus Viewpoint, you will return to Waterfront Station around 7:00pm.

Optional Activities

PEAK2PEAK Gondola

Experience the most amazing views of Whistler on this must-see attraction. Opened in 2008, this gondola connects the tops of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains via the longest and highest unsupported span for a lift system in the whole world! From 436 metres above the valley bottom, view Fitzsimmons Creek below and try to spot bears. This is the best way to see Whistler!

Ziptrek Ecotours

With their office located in the Village, you will get set up with a harness and then go on a 10-minute shuttle ride up Blackcomb where the adventure begins. All tours have guides to help you with using the ziplines and share information about the local environment. Tours run all year in all weather conditions. Underage Waiver.

 

Bear Tour – $120

The original ziptrek tour takes you on a treetop adventure along 5 ziplines and 4 bridges. This tour takes 2.5-3hrs to complete and showcases amazing views of Fitzsimmons Creek.

 

Eagle Tour – $140

This ziptrek tour also takes you on a treetop adventure along 5 ziplines and 4 bridges. It takes 2.5-3hrs to complete and showcases amazing views of Fitzsimmons Creek. Only the Eagle Tour includes the final monster zipline with a 30-storey drop that takes you back to Whistler Village, great for adrenaline junkies!

 

Whistler Bungee Jumping – $130

Around since 2002, Whistler Bungee has a perfect safety record and they are experts in making you want to jump off a bridge. Located 15 minutes South of Whistler Village, they offer a complimentary shuttle for bungee jumpers. Allow at least 1.5 hours for this activity. Underage Waiver.

 

ATV Tour – $130 (1 person) – $110 each (2 people sharing)

Enjoy a variety of trails from single track to alpine roads. See breathtaking views and alpine lakes as you power your way over a variety of terrain! Drivers must pay an additional $20 fee on arrival and must hold a valid driver’s license. All participants must be 19+ or have a parent / guardian present. Allow 3 hours.
