Day 1 – Travel from Vancouver to Tofino

We will leave Vancouver at 7:00 am to begin our journey to Tofino, located on Vancouver Island. Catch the ferry at Horseshoe Bay and head to Nanaimo, with a chance to see orcas and dolphins along the way. We’ll drive through Nanaimo and stop in Port Alberni to buy lunch, next stretch our legs at a gorgeous glacier fed river and then a beautiful West Coast beach. At approximately 5:00 pm we will arrive in Ucluelet and check into our hotel. Next is an evening in Tofino or sunset surfing – with a lesson and experienced instructors, and to finish the day a beach campfire and marshmallow roast.

Day 2 – Tofino

The day is yours to take part in some of the optional activities or explore the beaches of Tofino on your own. Spend the day trying out some of the local coffee, rent a kayak, go surfing, or even take a boat to the hot springs. Return back to Ucluelet for the night and go out to a bar to eat dinner and play some games.

Day 3 – West Coast to Vancouver

Before we leave Ucluelet we’ll take a leisurely hike along the Wild Pacific Trail, past some amazing rock formations, to an active light house. On our way back to Nanaimo to catch the ferry we will stop at Port Alberni, and soon after Cathedral Grove and Cameron Lake. Our last stop before the ferry will be at Coombs Market, with their famous gelato and ice creams and the Goats on the Roof Market! The bus will arrive in Vancouver at approximately 9:30 pm and your trip to Vancouver Island will come to an all-too-soon end.
