This serene city lovingly calls itself the “Tree Loving Capital of the World” and is home to many local artists and unique restaurants serving West Coast cuisine. This itinerary is subject to change due to unforeseen (weather) conditions. Departure times may vary by date, please see your confirmation email for exact departure times.

You will depart from Canada Place in the morning. Please be on time as we cannot wait for late arrivals. You will cross Lion’s Gate Bridge and take in the views of West Vancouver and the coastal mountains of Cypress, Grouse and Seymour. Upon arriving at Horseshoe Bay, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a scenic ferry ride to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. No trip to Vancouver Island is complete without a chance to see the Goats on the Roofs at Coombs Market, where you will stop for lunch. Before arriving in the town of Tofino, you will visit the famous Long Beach, the largest and longest beach in the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. After setting up your campsite, you will have the evening free to explore the town and grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants. Fun fact for the day: probably one of the most famous taco chains in Vancouver originated in Tofino, Tacofino. Trust us, you should definitely try them out! This evening we will finish off with a traditional Canadian campfire on the beach where we’ll teach you the art of making an authentic s’more.

Today you will have the opportunity to really get to know Tofino. You can visit Long Beach, a surfer’s paradise where you will be able to rent a wetsuit and surfboard and try your luck at one of the world’s most famous breaks. It may not be the biggest wave, but pro’s from all over the world come to surf here all the time. There will also be time for you to explore the fishing village of Tofino. Be sure to participate in other activities for which Tofino is famous such as whale watching, bear watching, a visit to Hot Spring Cove, Meare’s Island Water Taxi, SUP or kayaking, all of which carry an additional cost. You will have the evening at leisure again to try out some more of the amazing dining options.

Today after packing up your campsite, we will make our way to Ucluelet, where you can stop for coffee/breakfast, and have the opportunity to hike the Lighthouse Loop on the Wild Pacific Trail. On the way back to the ferry you will visit Cathedral Grove, a protected old growth forest with ancient Douglas Fir trees dating back more than 800 years. Upon arriving in Nanaimo, you’ll check-in for the ferry back to Vancouver. You will arrive in Downtown Vancouver at approximately 9:00 pm, depending on traffic. Trust us, this is definitely a trip that should not be missed!

I felt very safe during the tour

I went 3 days camping to Tofino, the experience was an amazing experience with an excellent tour guide and auxiliars. I felt safe because we used the masks all the time we were not able to maintain physical distance, and the guides were always checking temperature and giving us hand sanitizer in order to keep everyone safe during the trip. All the activities I did were so enjoyable.

My tour guide Luke was amazing!

Luke, my tour guide, was always taking care of us and showing us all the good parts of Tofino, he also made me think about surfing, I do not have any complain about it, it was just a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! For sure I will book another trip with you guys.
