Downtown Vancouver to Grouse Mountain (Roundtrip)

2:15 PM – Meet at Canada Place
Gather with your group at this Vancouver landmark and get ready for your alpine adventure. -
2:30 PM – Depart for Grouse Mountain
Travel in comfort as we head toward the North Shore’s winter playground. -
3:15 PM – Skyride to the Summit
Glide high above the treetops on the scenic Skyride gondola, enjoying panoramic views of the city and ocean as you ascend to the mountaintop. -
3:30 PM – Gear Up
Pick up your ski or snowboard rentals and get ready to hit the slopes. -
4:30–6:30 PM – Lesson Time
Learn from expert instructors in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment. Master the basics, build your confidence, and experience the thrill of your first turns. -
6:30 PM – Alpine Free Time
Depending on the weather, enjoy a moment to take in the twinkling city lights below, snap photos, or warm up with a hot drink. -
7:30 PM – Journey Down
After returning your equipment, meet your guide at 7:30 to descend the mountain on the Skyride. -

What types of packages are available?
We offer both 1-session and 3-session packages, each designed for beginners who want to learn at their own pace. For both package lengths, you can choose whether to include clothing rentals (jacket, pants, gloves, goggles) or bring your own gear. Prices are:

Do I need any previous skiing or snowboarding experience?
Not at all! This tour is designed specifically for beginners. Your lesson starts with the basics, and the instructors will guide you at your own pace.
Do I need to bring my own clothing and equipment?
Ski or snowboard equipment (boots, skis/board, poles, helmets) is included with your package. If you don’t have winter clothing, rentals are available with West Trek! Include at check-out or contact the team.
What should I wear for the tour?
Dress in warm layers and wear waterproof clothing if possible. Even with rentals, we recommend bringing your own hat, socks, and base layers for comfort.
Is transportation included?
Yes, round-trip transportation from Canada Place to Grouse Mountain is included as part of the package.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The tour operates in most weather conditions, and skiing/snowboarding can be enjoyed even with snowfall. In the rare case of a mountain closure or unsafe conditions, we will notify guests with alternative arrangements.
